Press Red is joining in the UN’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, an annual global campaign that kicks off on the 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until the 10th December, Human Rights Day.

As part of this campaign, on each of these sixteen days, we will be publishing a blog post written by one of our volunteers and ambassadors, Ruth Akinradewo. She will be addressing – one day at a time; one injustice at a time – a particular issue as it relates to the global epidemic that is violence against women and girls.
